Western Spirit Dec 12 – Jan 13
One trip over Christmas (fourth in a row!) on-board Western Spirit offshore Malaysia for Lundin Malaysia utilising Q-Marine technology.
Aquarius Oct 12 – Nov 12
A change from the ordinary when I joined the Aquarius working for First Oil Expro off Wick, Scotland. The 2DHR survey was successfully acquired in the sensitive Moray Firth area late in the season, utilising containerised compressors, source and a modular streamer reel and recording system.
Seisquest / Geo Caspian May 12 – Sept 12
Ten weeks onboard Seisquest followed by four weeks on Geo Caspian offshore Den Helder for Total E&P Nederlands. Twenty four platforms were undershot, with Geo Caspian as source vessel.
Fairfield New Venture Mar 12 – Apr 12
One more trip on the Fairfield New Venture, this time for Valiant Petroleum.
